Allegiant by Veronica Roth : A Review! **WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD**

This is the review I have been dreading writing. It's the book that I spent over a year longing and waiting for. It's also the book that once the ending was spoiled it took me a week after the release date to work up the courage to read it. Now having slept on it, I feel I'm in the right frame of mind to write an honest review.

Books I Did Not Finish! - 16/09/2013

Hi everybody, (As I typed that it sounded like Dr Nick from the Simpsons! You know what I mean? Anyway getting sidetracked there)

It's that time of the week again, Books I Did Not Finish!! I know you're all so very excited. Note sarcasm (especially in the specific case of this book, because the reason for not finishing the series is resoundingly pathetic go me!) If you've been paying attention (and by paying attention I mean you read my post on Friday) then you may have already had an inkling of which book/ series is being featured this week. Mainly because I actually told you. . . anyway slightly anti climatic but all the same this week I am looking at . . .

The House of Night Series

Tagline: N/A

Now I first read this book near enough straight after I read Twilight and fell in love. Needless to say the girl who reviewed this book way back in like 2008 probably wouldn't like it as much if she were to re-read it today. Why? Well because that was the girl who read Twilight 7 times and is now whole heartedly ashamed of that fact.

Let's just get into it shall we?

Books I Did Not Finish! - 09/09/2013

Hello Everyone, it is Monday and you know what that means!

It's time for another Book's I Did Not Finish. This week I am featuring a series, that I'm not sure really counts. Anyway. It's a series where as usual I freaking LOVED the first book, only to be somewhat let down by book 2. Yeah that's usually what happens. Only I know I downloaded the ebook of book 2, I remember starting it but I don't remember finishing it, and I also know I haven't read the last book, so it's getting featured, and with a little research, I'm going to try and decipher why I suddenly stopped reading book 2 and if I will continue on. So as you can tell today's instalment is slightly different form all my previous ones!

Today's book is . . . .

Shall we get on in to this book then? (That made no sense but let's just pretend that it did. Will you do that for me? Please?)

Let's research and discover together, if I will ever finish this series!

Books I Did Not Finish! - 26/08/2013

Hi everyone, how's the bank holiday weekend going for all my British readers? And for those of you who don't have a bank holiday, I'm sorry, but have a nice day with what ever it is you have to do today!

For today's Books I did not finish post I will be featuring yet another series, I'm starting to think that I should just rename this whole segment as 'Series I Did Not Finish'. Because I don't tend to read a whole lot of standalone novels, and I'd usually try to finish reading a book if it's a standalone. But when it's part of a series, and I already don't like where the the story is heading by the end of book one, then well, I guess to me it deserves to be here.

However when it comes to this particular series, I'm probably in the minority when it comes to my opinion on this books plot.

Uglies
by
Scott Westerfeld

Tagline: In a world of extreme beauty, anyone normal is ugly.

Okay I'm just going to get this out of the way now because it has nothing to do with why I never picked up the other books in this series. But that thing above 'UGLIES' really pisses me off. Why the need to act like it's a death match between YA dystopian books? And anyway this book is nothing like The Hunger Games, so whether Uglies came before it or not, it's not in the same league, we all know that it's only there to drag in The Hunger Games fans, so if that's you take this warning, it isn't anything like the Hunger Games so don't go into this thinking that it will be similar, the only similar thing that could been as being similar is that it is a YA dystopia.

Rant Over. On to the review.

Books I Did Not Finish! - 19/08/2013

Hello everyone!

It is time for another Books I Did Not Finish! Honestly I'm not sure if people actually like reading these, if you would rather I just did weekly book reviews so it includes books I actually like (because I know I haven't done one of those reviews in a while) then please do let me know in the comments below!

I was struggling to pick which book/ series to use this week, there is one that I really want to share but for now I'm saving that one. So this week I am featuring another series I did not finish. This is usually were for whatever reason I decided not to pick up the next book of series having read at least 2 of the previous books.

The Blue Bloods Series
by
  Melissa De La Cruz

Tagline: They're Young, Fabulous and Fanged . . .

From that Tagline you can probably guess what this series about. Yep that's right Vampires. It is a series I read after the whole Twilight furore and I for the most part I enjoyed it the main characters name really did piss me off though, it was so difficult to deal with, Schuyler. Honestly until I went on the authors website I was pronouncing it in my head as shoe-ler but it's actually pronounced Sky-ler. Great then why not just spell it that way like most people do. Anyway on to the review and why I stopped reading it after the Van Alen Legacy.

Books I Did Not Finish! - 12/08/2013

Hello everyone, it's that time of week again! Welcome to another Books I Did Not Finish! The place were instead of telling you about all the books I loved I share the ones that range from disappointing me to me out right hating them!

This week the chosen book lies some where in the middle of the above statement. Why? Well this book is a sequel. A sequel to a book, I very much enjoyed, you can read the review I wrote of book one here. Sadly the sequel did not live up to my expectations and so it is with regret that I have to include it in this series.

The Elite

Tagline: 35 GIRLS CAME TO THE PALACE. ONLY 6 REMAIN.

Like most people who enjoyed the first book I recognised it had it's faults, the world building wasn't great, it didn't really work as a dystopian (more on this later) and yes it was cheesy, but it was the cheesiness that made it enjoyable in it's Bachelor-esque game show plot for the Princes heart. Yet even in this the sequel The Elite some how failed.
