Books On My TBR List!

Hello everyone!

Happy Friday! So today I thought I would share some of the books that are currently on my tbr (to be read) list. Who knows maybe some of these will show up again in a books I did not finish or a monthly favourites. Let's dive right in shall we.

1. Gabriel's Redemption by Sylvain Reynard
Every time I think of book 1 in this series (Gabriel's Inferno) my heart gives a little flutter. A sucker for romance, and bad boys well this book just took the cake. So Gabriel's Redemption is the third and final book in the Gabriel series.
We pick up were we left off, Julianne and Gabriel are married, Julia is studying for her PHD to be a Dante specialist whilst Gabriel is a Professor at the University of Boston.
It's that age old saying, the course of true love never did run smooth, nothing truer could be said in reference to Gabriel and Julia, both wounded souls fighting against their demons, in the hopes of their happily ever after. There have been a lot of bumps a long the way for Gabriel and Julia, and honestly I just want them to have their happily ever after, they deserve it!
This book is due for release in December 2013.

2. This Girl by Colleen Hoover
This girl is basically Slammed and Point of Retreat told from Wills point of view. I don't have a lot to say other than I loved those two books and can't wait to see it from Wills perspective.
This book has had outstanding reviews and I don't really have any more to say other than I can't wait to read it.
This book is out now!

3. Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover
Losing Hope is Hopeless told from Holders point of view. Now before we get into why I want to read this book I should say that Hopeless left me in a state of shock with tears running down my cheeks. It was a heartbreaking story as we discovered what happened to Sky/Hope at the same time she did.
Losing Hope is all about Holder, and how he handled it when Sky went missing and how he felt when they reconnected and he finally found her again. I don't expect this book to hit me as hard as it's predecessor, because I already know the twist, I know what happened to Sky/Hope. Yet I still can't wait to read it. Colleen Hoover is an exceptional author and she deserves more credit and recognition that she gets, her books are so heartbreaking and emotional it's impossible to not have them on either a tbr or a favourites list.
This book is out now!

4. Left Drowning by Jessica Park
I don't know a whole lot about this book, other than that is sounds a lot like one of my all time favourites, Ten Tiny Breaths by K A Tucker. And if I am right in that assumption I have no doubt that I will love it.
Left Drowning follows the story of Blythe McGuire who is weighted down by the loss of her parents and struggles to keep her head above the water. Then she meets Chris Shepherd a guy whose past may just be even more complicated than her own.
Like I said it sounds a whole lot like Ten Tiny Breaths so fingers crossed it's just as good.
This book is out now!

5. The Edge of Always by J A Redmerski
He was taking the long road to visit his dying father, she was running away on the road to nowhere, it just so happened they ended up in the same place.
Cam and Andrew met five months ago on a Greyhound bus as they both battled against personal hardships. They quickly fell in love and proved that when two people are meant to be together fate, will find a way.
The ending to the first book the Edge of Never broke my heart and I so desperately want a happy ever after for these too! It breaks my heart to read the blurb and see that Cam will face more problems as she once again tries to numb herself from the pain whilst Andrew tries to pull her out of it.
These two have been through a lot, and the emotional roller-coaster their story has put me through I feel like I need their happily ever after just as much as they do.
This book is due for release in November 2013

and last but certainly not the least. . . .

6. Allegiant by Veronica Roth.
Allegiant is the third and final book in Veronica Roth's best-selling Divergent series (sad face). Divergent is probably my favourite YA dystopian book, I'm sure I've told you why before. (No love triangle!!!) Tris and Four, gosh those two are just so amazing together, I love them to death, and I love Tris' character that even when she faced tough tests and heart wrenching decisions, she never ended up in someone else's arms, though she lost her way for a short time, it was always Four <3. (I'm sorry I just love this couple!!!)

Comic Con happened last weekend where Ms Roth revealed that Allegiant will be told from both Tris and Four's perspectives, and I honestly cannot wait to read that, I screamed like a little girl when I found out. (By the way all you lucky swine's who were at comic con and got to see the footage from the film I seriously envy you!!! I've been waiting and tender hooks for this for ages!)

Okay back to Allegiant, the only clue we have to what will happen in this book is this very short synopsis,

"One choice will define you.
What if your whole world was a lie?
What if a single revelation - like a single choice - changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?"

I first read that and thought oh okay so we are just referencing back to the end of Insurgent whilst I inwardly begged (Why Veronica?? Please give us more than that!!!!) then I did a double take and zeroed in on "what if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected." I swear to god if something happens to Tris or Four there will be hell to pay! Please please let them be okay.
Right enough of that basically I want to read it and I want to read it now sadly this book won't be released until October 2013.

(Goes back to staring at a clock willing time to move faster)
